Junior Shooting Championship 2024 the largest to date!
The SA Hunters’ Sandrivier-58 branch hosted the Association’s annual, national Junior Shooting Championship at the Excalibur shooting range in Welkom, Free State on 27 and 28 September 2024.
It was the largest national Junior Shooting Championship gathering to date, with 189 junior shooters. Congratulations to all participants. The weather was good albeit slightly cold in the morning but with moderate temperatures for the rest of the day. A big thank you to the Sandrivier-58 branch for their hospitality and well-organised event. Special thanks to the administrative staff and range officers.

Junior shottists who participated at the regional level and achieved the Top 50 regional rankings were invited to take part in the following shooting disciplines:
- Junior shottists under 9 years, springer air rifle
- Junior shottists under 13/16/18 years, springer air rifle, pcp air rifle, and rimfire
- Shooters under 25 years, IGRF 25 m precision
