SA Hunters divided the national sport shooting championship into a northern and a southern event for the second consecutive year. The results of the 2025 Northern and Southern Sport Shooting Championships are listed below.
The 2025 Northern Sport Shooting Championship took place on 24 and 25 October 2025 at the Excalibur Shooting Range. The Sandrivier-58 Branch, with its warm hospitality, ensured a pleasant experience for participants and guests over the two days. Thank you to Sandrivier-58 for well well-organised event, and to Crown National’s food truck/kitchen for providing delicious meals throughout the weekend.

Prize-giving of the 2025 National Southern Sportshooting Championship
The Tafelberg Branch successfully hosted the second SA Hunters Southern Sport Shooting Championship on 12 and 13 September 2025 at the Belville Pistol Club. Although the wind was challenging at times, it did not significantly affect the participants’ scores.
This event certainly set a high standard or sport shooting in the Association. A record number of targets were shot, and impressive high scores were achieved. Thank you to every competitor. Congratulations to the place winners and to the Tafelberg Branch for organising and hosting and outstanding event.
