For the first time, the Sports Shooting Championship was split up into a northern and southern event to encourage members to participate in shooting activities nationwide at regional and national levels.
The Tafelberg Branch hosted the southern sports shooting championship on 18 and 19 October 2024 at the Bellville Pistol Club in Cape Town where 49 shottists participated.
A week later, on 25 and 26 October seventy shottists competed in the northern sports shooting championship at the Excalibur shooting range in Welkom, hosted by the Sandrivier-58 Branch. Jonsson Workwear treated the shottists with numerous prizes and we thank them for their support. Crown National made sure the range officers and administration staff was all well fed during the day.
Afterwards, the results of both championships were consolidated to determine SA Hunters’ top shottists in these disciplines.
