Waarom ‘n lid van SAJWV?  
 
SAJWV, beter bekend as SA Jagters, is in 1949 gevestig. Dit maak die vereniging die oudste jag en wildbewarings vereniging in Suid Afrika, wat na die gemene belange van die natuurbewaarder, jagter, sportskut en vuurwapeneienaar  omsien.
 

SA Jagters is by die SAPD geakkrediteer as ‘n jag- en sport-skiet vereniging en is sodoende by magte om toegewyde jagter status, toegewyde sportskut status en nou ook professionele jagter status uit te reik en te administreer.
 
Met 82 takke landwyd en meer as 44 000 lede (Februarie 2022), geniet SA Jagters nasionale verteenwoordiging en het dit die grootste voetspoor van al die jag en wildbewarings verenigings in Suid Afrika.
 
Ten spyte van die laaste negatiewe uitspraak in die Konstitusionele Hof, bly SA Jagters tot op datum die enigste vereniging wat oor die afgelope 13 jaar ‘n suksesvolle saak teen die SAPD in die Hoogeregshof kon voer om die reg van burgers om vuurwapens te besit, te beskerm.
 
SA Jagters neem die leiding in verskeie areas binne die wildsektor, insluitend die bevordering van verantwoordelike en etiese jag.
 
Die vereniging se hoofkantoor is in Pretoria te Inyahti Park gelee -ook die tuiste vir die grootste versameling van Suid Afrikaanse en internasionale wilds-trofees. Ons ervare en gekwalifiseerde vriendelike personeel is altyd gewillig om ondersteuning aan lede te verleen.
