The theme of our next exciting challenge is action and movement. These include humans, animals, birds, reptiles, and insects in nature in Southern Africa. The action/movement may be frozen, or blurred, as long as the audience experiences the feeling of action and movement. This challenge will require members to apply different techniques.
The rules for the photo challenge are as follows:
- Any photo depicting the theme of action and movement in the natural environment of Southern Africa.
- One photo per post.
- No limit on the number of posts per member.
- Participants must be members of SA Hunters and/or the SA Hunters Photography Club.
- Participants may only post photographs they have taken themselves.
- Tag the photo #action or #aksie
- Entries must include the following:
- Caption/title of your photo
- Location where the photo was taken
- Date the photo was taken
- Camera or smartphone brand/model
- Camera settings (F-stop, ISO, shutter speed), but not required for smartphones.
At the end of Oktober, the group’s admin will choose the photos that best represent the theme and that were shared on the Facebook group page and via email. The winner will be announced in November.
The photos will appear in a gallery on the group’s Facebook page and on the SA Hunters website. Members vote for the winner on the Facebook page.
