National giraffe survey

SA Hunters supports a national survey on wild giraffe populations undertaken by the Giraffe Conservation Foundation. We call on members to complete the surveys. More information is available here.

Water For Life Initiative

The Garden Route branch of SA Hunters, with the help of the George Boys Scouts, conducted a mini SASS survey of the Malgas River to assess the river’s health. Other branches can engage in similar activities in their regions.
