Die Suid-Afrikaanse Jagters- en Wildbewaringsvereniging (SAJWV) wil aan individue met enige vorm van fisiese gestremdhede of ingeperktheid die geleentheid bied om aktief aan jag en sportskietaktiwiteite deel te neem. Derhalwe, het SAJWV sy skietoefeninge aangepas om ook toeganklik te wees vir individue wat:

  1. aangebore gestremdhede het
  2. gestremd is weens ongelukke
  3. spier- en skeletafwykings het
  4. 'n siektetoestand het wat hulle inperk en verhoed om standaard skietposisies in te neem (lê, sit, kniel of staan)

The South African Hunters and Game Conservation Association (SAHGCA) aims to give individuals with a variety of physical impairments the opportunity to play an active role in all hunting, sport and recreational shooting. Therefore, SAHGCA amended the shooting exercises to accommodate individuals who:

  1. were born with a disability
  2. were disabled due to an accident
  3. have muscle or skeletal problems
  4. have an illness that impairs them, and prevents them from assuming  standard shooting positions (prone, sitting, kneeling or standing)
