Ons nooi alle lede en takke van die Vereniging uit om deel te neem aan SA Jagters se Fotokompetisie.

Die doel van die kompetisie is om ‘n portefeulje saam te stel van die beste foto’s wat SA Jagters se lede geneem het sodat ons dit tydens die jaarlikse kongres se gala-aand kan vertoon. Die naam van die fotograaf en die tak waaraan die lid behoort, sal by die foto verskyn. Die algehele wenner sal ook genooi word om sy prys by die kongres te kom ontvang

Aan die einde van elke maand sal ons foto’s kies om by hierdie portefeulje in te sluit en dit ook op www.sahunters.co.za publiseer. Erkenning sal gegee word vir die beste foto’s, nl:

  • Brons sertifikaat, vir noemenswaardige inskrywings (maandeliks beoordeel)
  • Silwer sertifikaat vir finaliste wie se foto’s in die portefeulje ingesluit word (maandeliks beoordeel) en
  • Goue sertifikaat vir wenners in elke kategorie (jaarliks)

Die sertifikate sal op die lid se aanlyn-profiel gevoeg word. Ontvangers van hierdie sertifikate sal ‘n ooreenstemmende lap-kenteken van hoofkantoor af kan bestel.

Kategorieë vir die 2019 Kompetisie

  1. Die Jagter - Beelde wat 'n jagter, mens of dier, in die natuur uitbeeld Let asb. daarop dat hierdie kategorie nie foto’s van gejagte diere insluit nie. Stuur daardie foto’s gerus na die tydskrif se Bokspog.
  2. Die Natuur Praat - Beelde uit die natuur wat met die jou siel praat soos foto’s met merkwaardige agtergronde of kleure
  3. Dierelewe - Beelde wat enige dierelewe (land, voël of seelewe) uitbeeld
  4. Skiet -'n toegewyde sport - Beelde wat wys op die aktiwiteit, toewyding, toerusting en voorbereiding van die sportskietmededinger

Reëls vir die Kompetisie

  1. Slegs opbetaalde lede van SA Jagters mag deelneem.
  2. Inskrywings is gratis.
  3. Deelnemers mag slegs foto’s inskryf wat hulleself geneem het, m.a.w. hulle moet die kopiereg op die foto besit.
  4. Deur in te skryf gee deelnemers aan SA Jagters toestemming om die foto’s onbeperk vir die Vereniging se doeleindes te gebruik, maar met volle erkenning aan die fotograaf.
  5. Slegs 5 inskrywings per lid per maand sal aanvaar word.
  6. Stuur inskrywings saam met die onderstaande inligting na This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.:
    1. Naam en van
    2. SA Jagters-lidnommer
    3. Kontaktelefoonnommer
    4. Plek waar die foto geneem is
    5. Kategorie waaronder jy inskryf, en
    6. Titel, boodskap of beskrywing wat jy by die foto wil voeg (opsioneel)
  7. Foto’s moet groter as 1MB en (verkieslik) kleiner as 3MB wees.
  8. Finaliste mag versoek word om die hoër kwaliteit of oorspronklike, onveranderde foto’s te verskaf.
  9. Foto’s mag verbeter word (basiese verstellings soos kleur, beligting, kontras en grootte) maar nie verander word nie (gevorderde verstellings soos duplisering en kopiëring).
  10. Die sluitingsdatum vir inskrywings is Maandag 30 September 2019. 
  11. Dit is deelnemers se verantwoordelikheid om te verseker dat hulle die reëls van die kompetisie verstaan en daarby hou.
  12. Die wenners van elke kategorie sal voor SA Jagters se galadinee op www.sahunters.co.za en in die SA Jagters nuusbrief bekend gemaak word. 
  13. Die beoordelaars se beslissing is finaal en geen korrespondensie in die verband sal gevoer word nie.

 

SA Hunters Photography Competition

We invite all SA Hunters’ members and branches to participate in our Photography Competition.

The purpose of this competition is to compile a portfolio of our members’ best photographs to present at the annual SA Hunters Congress Gala Dinner. Each photograph in the portfolio will include full recognition of the photographer and the relevant branch. The overall winner will also be invited to receive his price at the congress gala dinner

At the end of each month SA Hunters will select photographs to add to the portfolio and publish them on www.sahunters.co.za  The best photographs will be acknowledged by:

  • Bronze certificate for highly commended entries (monthly)
  • Silver certificate for images included in the portfolio (monthly), and
  • Gold certificates for the winning entries in the various categories (annually)

The certificates will be added to the member’s online profile. Recipients of these certificates can order the corresponding badges from the national office.

Categories of the 2019 Competition

  1. The Hunter - Images that depict a hunter, man or animal, in nature. Please note that this category does not include photos of hunting animals. Please send those pictures to the Magazine’s Bokspog.
  2. Nature Talks - Images from nature that talks to your soul with such as images with beautiful backgrounds or color
  3. Wildlife - Images depicting any animal life (land, bird or marine life)
  4. Shooting – a dedicated sport -  Images showing off the action, dedication, gear and preparation of the sport shooting competitor

Rules of the Competition

  1. Only fully paid-up members of SA Hunters may participate.
  2. No entry fees are payable.
  3. Only photographs that were taken by the entrant personally will be allowed i.e. the entrant must own the copyright and any other intellectual property rights of each image.
  4. By entering this competition, participants give SA Hunters permission for unrestricted use of these photographs. Full acknowledgement will be given to the photographer in all applications.
  5. Only 5 entries per member per month will be accepted.

    1. Name and surname
    2. SA Hunters member number
    3. Telephone number
    4. Location where photograph was taken
    5. Category in which you enter, and
    6. Title or caption to the photograph (optional)
  7. Images must be between 1 and (preferable) 3Mb in size;
  8. Finalists may be required to provide a high resolution digital or original unedited version of the photograph.
  9. Basic post processing and editing will be allowed (exposure, contrast and colour adjustments, dust speck removal, and sharpening), but advanced editing such as cloning and composites will not be allowed.
  10. The closing date for entries is Mondat, 30 September 2019.
  11. It is up to each entrant to ensure that they have read, understood and abided by the competition rules.
  12. The names of the winners in each category will be published on www.sahunters.co.za prior to the gala dinner and will be announced in the SA Hunters CEO’s newsletter.
  13. The judges’ decisions will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
