While the hunting season is in full swing other activities seem to have calmed down slightly. Perhaps our members are too busy hunting to attend to other matters. While the big events during April and May, namely HuntEx Gauteng, Nampo, HuntEx Eastern Cape, and the majority of the regional meetings are done and dusted we can get back to the day to day matters at the office.
Uiteindelik het die jagseisoen van 2017 ook aangebreek. Teen hierdie tyd is die eerste vleis al in die koelkas en die biltong hang. Die droëwors behoort nou al eetbaar te wees.
Met die hofaansoek en HuntEx beide so teen die einde van April was daar net te veel dinge en daarom is my nuusbrief ‘n week laat.
It is already 4 April 2017 and I deliberately delayed the monthly newsletter to report back on the National Branch Chairman’s Forum held at Nyathi Park on Saturday 1 April. We had 64 Branch chairpersons and all regional co-ordinators present for a meaningful meeting. News about the decisions taken have most probably reached the branches already. At the start of 2017, there were reports of good rain in certain parts of the country while serious drought is still ravaging other areas such as the Eastern Cape and Karoo. Our hearts go out to farmers and members in these areas. We trust that good rain will come your way.Read more...
1. Annual Congress of SA Hunters
Dit is vandag presies 30 dae voor die Kongres van 2016 op 5 November 2015 om 08:00 begin. Die Kongres sal vanjaar voorafgegaan word deur ’n byeenkoms van die NTVF op die oggend van 4 November 2016 om 10:00 by die nasionale kantoor. Die Kongresdinee vind plaas op 4 November 2016 om 18h:00 by Union Caterers in Lynnwoodweg, Pretoria en op Saterdag 5 November 2016 begin die Kongres op dieselfde perseel as Vrydagaand se dinee.
