Algemeen

Witrenoster-tak het ‘n vergadering gehou op die 17 Oktober waartydens die verbetering van die Witrenoster-skietbaan bespreek is. Daar is besluit om borge te kry om die koste daarvoor te dek.

Die jaareindfunksie vind op 10 November by die skietbaan plaas wanneer lede kan deelneem aan 'n pretskiet. Die jaarlikse prysuitdeling en 'n bring-en-braai sal daarna plaasvind. Alle lede en hulle gaste is welkom.  

Die skietdag op 20 Oktober was ook goed bygewoon deur die lede en almal het geoefen vir die kopskiet-kompetisie wat Saterdag 27 Oktober 2018 by die Dirk van Schalkwyk-skietbaan op Lichtenburg gehou word. Die tak se volgende amptelike takvergadering en skietdag word onderskeidelik op 7 en 10 November gehou.

Bewaring

Lede word aangemoedig om by bewaringsaktiwiteite betrokke te raak en die takbestuur op die hoogte te hou van waarmee hulle besig is.

General

Witrenoster Branch held a meeting on 17 October where repair work to the Witrenoster shooting range was discussed. It was agreed to look for sponsors to cover the cost of the repairs.

The year-end function will be held at the shooting range on 10 November. It wil coincide with a fun shoot. The annual prize-giving and a bring and braai will follow. All members and their guests are welcome. 

The shooting day on 20 October was well attended and members practised for the head shoot competition on Saturday, 27 October at the Dirk van Schalkwyk shooting range at Lichtenburg. The next official branch meeting and shooting day will be held on 7 and 10 November respectively.
