Algemeen

Baie welkom by die vooruitstrewende Platorand-tak. Alle lede is meer as welkom om in te skakel by ons aktiwiteite. Besoek gerus ons web blad by www.platorand.co.za  

Die tak het ‘n voortgesette bewaringsprojek om lede aan te moedig om uilkaste te koop en op te rig ten einde die landelike uilpopulasie se getalle te vermeerder en knaagdiere op ‘n natuurlike en veiliger manier te beheer. Bestel uilkaste by Twk Wonderfontein, Ferdie Brits, 082 773 8776.

Lede wat buite takverband aan jag- of skietaktiwiteite deelneem is verplig om self die aktiwiteit op die SA Jagters se aanlyn lede-administrasiestelsel te voltooi as deel van die handhawing van Toegewyde- Jagter- en Sportskutstatus.

Shooting Matters

Die SAJWV het skietoefeninge opgestel vir skuts wat met semi-aoutomatiese wapens skiet. Besoek die skietbaan om hieraan deel te neem.
Shooting range matters: It is compulsory to wear eye protection on the shooting range. Range fees are now R30 for seniors. Juniors shoot for free. During summer months, the shooting days open at 07:30 and during winter months we start at 08:30.

Opleiding
